The Department of Psychology at Bilkent University is a dynamic environment with a growing team of academics that brings together international experience and world-class research. Active areas of research include: cognition, neuroscience, vision, social-, developmental-, and biological psychology. Our goal is to offer excellent undergraduate education, and to advance basic and applied science in understanding the brain, behavior and mental health through strong research programs. Our faculty are supported by EU and Turkish grants and maintain collaborative relationships with other disciplines ranging from Molecular Biology and Genetics to Engineering, Fine Arts and Economy. This interdisciplinary environment creates excellent opportunities for students to explore different directions within the broad field of Psychology.

The Department of Psychology offers B.A., Master’s and Ph.D degrees. The language of instruction is English at Bilkent.
